GREEK FESTIVAL is BACK!
To all our Parishioners and the Greater Rochester Community,
Join us May 30th, 31st and June 1st, 2nd, 2024 from 11am - 11pm (closing 9pm on Sunday) as we continue our tradition of bringing the aromas, tastes, sounds, and traditions of Greece to Rochester on the grounds of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 962 East Avenue, near the George Eastman House.
We will be serving your favorite Greek meals from pita sandwiches like Gyro, Souvlaki, and Loukaniko. Enjoy our latest appetizer additions of Saganaki (flaming cheese) and delicious fried kalamari. Try homemade Spanakopita, Greek Chicken, Pastichio, Moussaka and Lamb Shank dinners. The food line closes at 9 pm.
Taste the Greek treats, Loukoumades, available only during the Greek Festival or try our famous Baklava. Enjoy your dessert with a custom-ordered cup of Greek coffee at the Kafeneo. Visit the Taverna to enjoy a bottle of imported Greek beer or a glass of Greek wine.
Stroll through the Agora to experience shopping in a Greek marketplace. Our boutiques have many unique treasures; clothing, jewelry, books, icons and specialty foods are a few examples. Enjoy the Kiddie Village with a variety of activities for children of all ages; Rock Wall, inflatable slide, carnival games and more! Of course, no Greek Festival is complete without music and dancing. Our cultural dance groups will perform regional Greek dances. Visit our calendar for dancing schedules.
Sincerely,
Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church Parish Council
